The inspection of the gas system in camping vehicles is due every 3 years. Most cantons require a valid gas test during the vehicle inspection. A gas test is also usually compulsory at campsites.

Gas testing contributes to safety on campsites and in road traffic. Therefore, many important points such as tightness, pressure regulators, hoses, gas appliances, shut-off devices and much more are tested during the gas test.
