The type of driver's license required depends on the vehicle's gross vehicle weight and the number of seats.
- Up to 3.5 metric tons and a maximum of 9 seats (including the driver): Category B
- Up to 3.5 metric tons with more than 9 seats: Category D1
- Over 3.5 metric tons and up to 17 seats: Category D1
- Over 3.5 metric tons with more than 17 seats: Category D
Depending on the vehicle category, our school buses offer different seating capacities. Minibuses can seat up to 22 children, midibuses up to 33, and small coaches have even greater capacities. Many vehicles can be equipped with quick-release systems, allowing seats to be easily removed or installed. This makes it possible to flexibly adapt the interior to different uses.
Yes. Most of the custom installations and modifications are carried out directly in our own workshop in Dagmersellen. These include, among other things, various seating configurations, quick-release systems, wheelchair spaces, air conditioning systems, auxiliary heaters, multimedia systems, and other custom features.
Yes. Depending on the vehicle, wheelchair spaces, wheelchair lifts, or ramps can be installed. Seating and wheelchair spaces can be combined in various ways and customized to meet the needs of your school or institution.
Yes. Many school buses can be equipped with quick-release fastening systems. This makes it easy to remove or add seats, allowing the interior to be flexibly configured to accommodate varying numbers of students, luggage, or wheelchair spaces.
Yes. Depending on the vehicle category, electric school buses are also available. They are particularly well-suited for regular trips with predictable routes and offer a low-emission alternative to diesel engines.

Most of our custom modifications and conversions are carried out in our own workshop in Dagmersellen.
